CedarWheel Stationary Set
The aim of this project was to create a three piece stationary set for a furniture business. The focal design elements were based on proximity and repetition to establish the basis of a business. It was important to use hierarchy and layout during this project as well as previous ‘tools’ that I had adapted and to use them with good practice. There were a choice of images if you wanted to use them or not and a few different versions of the logo, as well as the copy to be used.
Research
To begin with I researched exisiting designs of business stationary to help guide me with choices. I was more drawn towards the natural elements from wood and tree rings as the business was a bespoke furniture company, I wanted to emphasise the raw natural nature of creating a peice of furniture by hand, where it begins and comes from.

I had a vague idea in my head of what I wanted to convey in the designs, therefore I only focused on sketching the business card as this to me was the main element of the design and from the business card result I would be able to carry this theme throughout the remaining items in the set.
Digital Developments
I started to develop my ideas digitally, I managed to produce a variety of different designs however non of them were really striking me as finished or exciting to look at. It took a bit of adjusting and trying out new designs but eventually it lead to a couple of peices of work which I quite liked and felt represented the brief to a certain standard.
